Spheres of Influence

A reinterpretation of the arachne mythos as spiders as us as ripples as energy spheres. The skull represents the most base core under the phenomenal I, our specific window from the collective. Each arm is a boundary, a filter, a hand we use to reach into and influence each other; at once our identity and our isolation and our means of connecting.

The Spheres of Influence are approximately 2′ square, bronze and marble. Completed 2009
